Putting in place structural values that motivate individuals in care to believe in their own abilities and commit to the process that leads to achievement of personal set goals and long-term dreams. We encourage their active participation in creative arts, music, dance, home chores, grocery shopping, meal preparation, physical fitness and yoga.
Involving them in social and community activities such as joining a women centre or a day program for goal centered skill building; participating in recreational programs and activities; and engaging in activities that promotes the chosen identity, culture and beliefs of individuals in care.
Promoting programs that engages residents in activities that align with their area of strength in order to drive their independence, autonomy, self actualization and fulfillment. We register our residents in care in institutions such as Airdrie Ability Centre for enhancement of their life skills.
